Cuomo Pushes $16B Infrastructure Rebuild Post-Sandy

Law360, New York (January 07, 2014, 1:33 PM ET) -- New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo vowed Tuesday to press forward a $16 billion statewide plan to rebuild after Hurricane Sandy, with an eye on spending heavily on New York City infrastructure and power systems as well as creating a school dedicated to emergency preparedness.

Appearing in Albany with Vice President Joe Biden, Cuomo — a day away from his annual January address to the state — unveiled some new nuggets even as billions from a $60 billion federal aid package moved out to communities.
