Ex-Trump Fla. Project Revived By Hilton As Conrad Resort

Law360, Miami (January 8, 2014, 4:43 PM EST) -- The defunct Fort Lauderdale, Fla., oceanfront condominium-hotel project formerly backed by Donald Trump will get a new life as a 290-room Conrad Hotel & Resort after $34 million in renovations are complete, Hilton Worldwide announced Tuesday.

Hilton, which owns the luxury Conrad brand, signed an agreement with the property's owner, CFLB Partnership LLC, to open and operate a Conrad-branded residence and resort in the 24-story building, according to a statement from Hilton. The company expects the resort to open in 2015.
