CAE Wins $102M In Military Flight Training Contracts

Law360, Washington (January 8, 2014, 2:16 PM EST) -- Canadian aviation simulation and training firm CAE Inc. announced Wednesday that it has been awarded contracts worth more than CA$110 million (US$101.8 million) to provide flight training and simulator technology to three militaries, including two contracts with the U.S. Navy.

Under the two Navy contracts, CAE’s U.S. unit will train Navy aircrew on the T-44C, a Beechcraft Corp. twin-turboprop training aircraft, and will provide the Royal Danish Navy with a simulator for Sikorsky Aircraft Corp.’s MH-60R Seahawk helicopter under the U.S. Department of Defense’s foreign military...
