Siemens Gets Robotics Patent Suit Dropped

Law360, Los Angeles (January 8, 2014, 6:13 PM EST) -- A Texas federal judge on Tuesday tossed software provider Roy-G-Biv Corp.'s patent infringement suit against Siemens AG over integrated software used to control robotic manufacturing machines, pursuant to the parties' joint stipulation of dismissal.

On Monday, Roy-G-Biv and Siemens filed a joint stipulation of dismissal of their suit with prejudice. On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Leonard Davis finalized that motion and dismissed all claims between the parties.
