Apple Trademark Application Faces Challenges In Russia

Law360, New York (January 24, 2014, 7:00 PM EST) -- In 2013, the United States Patent and Trademark Office published online an application for a patent for a multifunctional mobile device, which the user can wear as a wristwatch. The device will not only display the current time, but wirelessly display information from the iPhone, and the owner will be able to change songs on the player or view recent calls. The display of the device is flexible and will be equipped with a virtual keyboard that will give the opportunity to write messages directly on the screen. There are rumors that this Apple Inc. watch will be presented to the public soon. The name of the device was not reported, but the media dubbed it as the "iWatch" — similar to the iPhone and iPad....
