Skadden Steers Visteon's $265M Deal For Electronics Biz

Law360, New York (January 13, 2014, 1:39 PM EST) -- Auto parts supplier Visteon Corp. will buy Johnson Controls' automotive electronics business for $265 million, the companies said Monday, in a deal designed to boost Visteon's position in the vehicle cockpit electronics segment.

The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2014. It gives Visteon control over Johnson Controls' automotive business, which provides automakers with driver information, infotainment, connectivity and body electronics products.
