High Court Won't Hear Data Broker Liability Suit

Law360, New York (January 13, 2014, 6:47 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday denied a bid by a New York man to hold a data broker liable for illegally selling information gleaned from Department of Motor Vehicles records to a stranger who later tracked him down and harassed him.
