Total Buys 2 UK Shale Exploration Licenses

Law360, New York (January 13, 2014, 5:38 PM ET) -- Making a push for British shale, Total SA and four partners bought two exploration licenses in midland U.K. for an undisclosed amount, the French petroleum giant said Monday.

Total did not say how much it's spending, but BBC reported that the investment is worth at least $21 million.
