IRS Conference Spending Has Dropped, TIGTA Says

Law360, New York (January 14, 2014, 4:20 PM EST) -- After revealing last year that the Internal Revenue Service had spent $4.1 million on an employee conference in southern California in 2010, Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration J. Russell George told a Senate panel Tuesday that the agency had significantly reduced annual spending on conferences.
