Townsend Raises $357M For New Real Estate Fund

Law360, New York (January 15, 2014, 2:22 PM EST) -- Investment management firm The Townsend Group said Wednesday that its newest real estate fund had raised $357.5 million in capital commitments from more than 50 institutional investors, boosting the company's ability to co-invest in the real estate market.

According to a Wednesday statement from Cleveland-based Townsend, the Townsend Real Estate Alpha Fund will invest in co-investments, secondary fund interests and specialized primary funds.
