EIB Considers €150M Loan for Austrian Hospital Upgrades

Law360, New York (January 15, 2014, 3:09 PM EST) -- The European Investment Bank is considering lending €150 million ($204 million) to help finance a health infrastructure development project to upgrade several state-run hospitals in Austria, the bank said Wednesday.

The EIB said the financing would be used to modernize 11 hospitals in the Austrian state of Styria, according to the EIB website. The program involves 27 individual projects across the 11 hospitals to bring them up to current medical standards.
