Powertech Breached Chip Licensing Deal, Judge Says

Law360, Los Angeles (January 15, 2014, 6:07 PM EST) -- A California federal judge granted Tessera Inc. a partial victory Wednesday in a breach of contract suit over semiconductor chip patents, ruling that Powertech Technology Inc. was barred from ending the companies' licensing agreement because it withheld millions of dollars in royalty payments.
