Pa. Lawmakers Introduce Medical Marijuana Legislation

Law360, New York (January 16, 2014, 6:33 PM EST) -- A pair of bipartisan Pennsylvania state senators on Tuesday introduced legislation that would legalize the use of medical marijuana by patients suffering from certain illnesses, upon the recommendations of their doctors, despite stated opposition from Gov. Tom Corbett.

Sens. Mike Folmer, R-Lebanon, and Daylin Leach, D-Montgomery, announced their plans to introduce S.B. 1182, the Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Act, in November.
