BBC Equities Boss' Guilty Plea Accepted In $50M Fraud Case

Law360, New York (January 16, 2014, 3:21 PM EST) -- A Michigan federal judge has accepted the guilty plea of former BBC Equities LLC's CEO Richard Trabulsy over a $50 million real estate investment fraud scheme after rejecting an earlier deal that called for a relatively light prison sentence, according to a Tuesday court notice.

U.S. District Judge Paul D. Borman accepted Trabulsy’s plea agreement, which includes a sentencing range of between 51 and 63 months. The previous agreement, rejected Nov. 1, had called for a range of between 27 and 33 months.
