GAO Rejects HP's Bid Protest Over $50M Air Force Contract

Law360, Washington (January 16, 2014, 5:55 PM EST) -- A Hewlett-Packard Co. subsidiary has lost its bid protest arising from a failed $50 million offer to integrate personnel and pay systems for the U.S. Air Force, according to a Government Accountability Office decision made public Thursday.

GAO general counsel Susan A. Poling said there was little merit in HP’s protest of the contract bidding process. An IBM Corp. division won the contract with a $32 million bid, according to a decision filed Dec. 23.
