Housing Group Wins Property Tax Break At Texas High Court

Law360, New York (January 17, 2014, 6:29 PM EST) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday denied an appeal by a Galveston appraisal district, saying that "equitable title" is enough for a property controlled by a community housing development organization to qualify for a tax exemption available to such organizations.
