FDA Reveals Plan To Open Satellite Offices In China

Law360, New York (March 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration said Friday that it had received approval to establish eight full-time permanent FDA positions in the People's Republic of China, as part of the agency's grander push to supervise the safety of imported products.

The eight positions will be at several U.S. diplomatic posts in the country, pending authorization from the Chinese government.
