Guardian Media Sells Trader Media Stake To Apax Partners

Law360, New York (January 21, 2014, 2:14 PM EST) -- Guardian Media Group has agreed to sell its 50.1 percent stake in the auto-dealing Trader Media Group to Apax Partners, Guardian's private equity partner, the companies said Tuesday.

The companies didn't publicize the size of the deal. Reuters cited inside sources in valuing Trader Media Group at $2.87 billion, with the size of the deal being closer to about $1 billion.
