Fla. Gov. Proposes $130M For Everglades Restoration

Law360, Miami (January 22, 2014, 7:48 PM EST) -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott on Wednesday said he will propose spending $130 million on environmental and transportation projects to help restore the Everglades and South Florida as part of his proposed 2014-15 budget.

The governor's announcement came during his cabinet meeting, during which he also criticized the White House for not maximizing its environmental spending efforts on the area.
