San Diego Union-Tribune Must Pay $10M To Paper Carriers

Law360, Los Angeles (January 22, 2014, 9:18 PM ET) -- A California judge on Tuesday awarded more than $6 million in attorneys' fees to a class of newspaper carriers who had accused the San Diego Union-Tribune of misclassifying them as independent contractors, bringing the total judgment against the newspaper to about $10 million.
