Exelis Nabs $32M Award For Radars To The US Coast Guard

Law360, New York (January 23, 2014, 6:21 PM EST) -- Exelis Inc. has won a $32 million award to provide airborne surveillance radars as well as support equipment and related services to the U.S. Coast Guard, the McLean, Va.-defense company said Wednesday.

The award entails a five-year contract to supply Exelis’ AN/APY-11 multimode radars, which will help the Coast Guard in maritime missions including long-range surveillance, search-and-rescue and counterterrorism functions, according to a statement by Exelis.
