Vulcan Reaps $720M In Sale Of Cement, Concrete Business

Law360, New York (January 23, 2014, 1:25 PM EST) -- Vulcan Materials Co., the United States' largest construction aggregate producer, will sell its Florida- and Georgia-based cement and concrete business to Cementos Argos SA for $720 million in an effort to cut debt by trimming noncore assets, the company said Thursday.
