4th Circ. Says Expanded ADA Covers Temporary Impairments

Law360, New York (January 23, 2014, 6:28 PM ET) -- The Fourth Circuit ruled Thursday that 2008 amendments to the Americans With Disabilities Act extended protections to people with severe temporary impairments, reviving a wrongful-discharge claim brought by a worker fired in the wake of an injury that left him unable to walk for months.
