FTC New Year's Resolution: End Deceptive Weight-Loss Ads

Law360, New York (January 31, 2014, 4:57 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission ushered in 2014 with a series of enforcement actions against four weight-loss product purveyors, taking issue with the companies’ advertising tactics, and concurrently issuing updated guidance to media outlets, detailing how to spot potentially misleading advertisements and claims for weight-loss products and services.
