Force-Placed Insurance Action Against BofA Trimmed By Judge

Law360, Los Angeles (January 23, 2014, 10:21 PM ET) -- A California federal judge on Thursday trimmed a class action against Bank of America NA and insurance providers over so-called force-placed insurance policies, saying a choice of law clause in their contract with mortgage borrowers warranted the dismissal of a state law claim.
