Boeing, General Dynamics Settle $4.8B Aircraft Contract Row

Law360, Los Angeles (January 23, 2014, 8:09 PM EST) -- The Boeing Co. and General Dynamics Corp. will provide $400 million in aircraft and services to the U.S. Department of the Navy to resolve a 23-year-old dispute with the federal government over the termination of a $4.8 billion contract to develop the A-12 carrier-based stealth aircraft, according to court documents filed Thursday.

Pursuant to the settlement, Boeing, General Dynamics and the government agreed to dismiss with prejudice a suit over the contract termination that had been pending in the U.S Court of Federal Claims.
