Calif. Court OKs Benefit Change For Retired San Diego Cops

Law360, Los Angeles (January 24, 2014, 4:19 PM EST) -- A California appellate court has ruled that the city of San Diego did not have to hold a vote including all the members of its pension system to implement changes to city police officers' retiree health benefits, saying a lower court judge correctly ruled that retiree health is not a benefit under the city's retirement system.
