Mexico Taps Iberdrola To Build $270M Baja Gas Plant

Law360, New York (January 24, 2014, 2:42 PM EST) -- Spanish power giant Iberdrola SA has been awarded a contract to build and operate a $270 million, 300-megawatt gas power plant in Mexico, Iberdrola said Friday.

Iberdrola said it submitted the winning bid in an international bidding process for the construction contract on the 300-megawatt Baja California III combined-cycle power plant and associated facilities in Mexico.
