Raytheon Joins BAE On S. Korean Combat Radar Contract

Law360, New York (January 24, 2014, 2:18 PM EST) -- Raytheon Co. has scored its first international customer for its F-16 advanced combat radar, signing a contract with BAE Systems PLC in support of upgrading the South Korea's fleet, the subcontractor announced Friday.

As a part of the deal, Raytheon will provide upgrades to more than 130 KF-16C/D Block 52 aircraft, including the Raytheon Advanced Combat Radar — which has been designed specifically for the F-16 — the ALR-69A all-digital radar warning receiver, advanced mission computing technology, and weapon systems integration, according to a statement....
