Univac Antitrust Suit V. Dentsply Gets Green Light

Law360, New York (March 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Dentsply International Inc. will not be able to brush off an antitrust suit that alleges the company took advantage of its dominant position in the false-teeth market.

Judge Christopher C. Conner of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania on Friday cleared the way for Univac Dental Co. to move ahead with its case accusing rival Dentsply, the leading artificial teeth supplier in the U.S., of anti-competitive practices during the 1990s.
