Highland's Contract Claim Axed In Fight With Former Exec

Law360, Dallas (January 28, 2014, 8:34 PM EST) -- A Texas judge on Tuesday ruled Highland Capital Management LP didn’t prove at trial its former head of private equity interfered with any of the firm’s contracts after he resigned, but allowed the hedge fund to continue arguing its claims for defamation and trade secrets violations to the jury.
