Google Snags More Space At NYC's Chelsea Market

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 4:47 PM EST) -- Google Inc. has expanded its presence at Manhattan's Chelsea Market, agreeing to bring its presence at the property to more than 300,000 square feet, sources close to the deal confirmed Tuesday.

The company is leasing 17,658 square feet on the second floor of 75 Ninth Ave. from landlord and developer Jamestown Properties, the latest in a string of expansion moves at the building that continue to demonstrate Google's dominance both in the tech industry as well as in the changing tenant landscape in Chelsea.
