AOL, Google Face Higher Royalty Rate After AdWords IP Loss

Law360, Los Angeles (January 28, 2014, 8:31 PM EST) -- A Virginia federal judge set the ongoing royalty rate Tuesday in a dispute over a Vringo Inc. subsidiary's search engine advertisement patents, agreeing with the plaintiff that AOL Inc., Google Inc., Target Corp. and others' continued willful infringement with AdWords warranted a higher rate.
