Deals Rumor Mill: Sprint, AT&T, Lenovo

By Karlee Weinmann (January 29, 2014, 4:59 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Justice has so far remained skeptical of Sprint Corp.'s prospective acquisition of smaller rival T-Mobile US Inc., Bloomberg reported late Tuesday. The potential buyer met with top antitrust officials earlier this month to discuss the potential landmark move, which it contends would allow it to better compete with industry powerhouses AT&T Inc. and Verizon Wireless. But the antitrust regulators went unconvinced, despite criticisms from the companies that the two biggest mobile servicers in the U.S. — Verizon and AT&T — already hold a duopoly....
