Reed Smith Forms New Financial Industry Group

Law360, New York (March 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Reed Smith LLP has created a 225-attorney strong financial industry group, an autonomous practice in the firm, to help clients deal with the subprime mortgage meltdown, the credit crunch and other aspects of a newly turbulent industry.

The new group will be spread out over several offices, several countries and several disciplines. It will include litigating, regulatory and transactional lawyers, whose practice areas range from financial services to bankruptcy to real estate.
