AfDB To Put $217M Toward 2 Projects In Kenya

Law360, New York (January 29, 2014, 4:25 PM EST) -- The African Development Bank will put $217 million toward two projects in Kenya, the bank said Monday, as part of its continued commitment to solidifying infrastructure in the country and promoting inclusive growth and green economies throughout Africa.

According to a Monday press release from the AfDB, the government of Kenya has already signed loan and protocol grant agreements for the two projects. $120 million will go toward the Nairobi Outer Ring road project, with the remaining $97 million going toward the Thwake Multipurpose Water Development...
