Federal Court Sites Go Down Again, But No Hacking Link Yet

Law360, New York (January 31, 2014, 12:54 PM EST) -- The federal judiciary system's websites faltered intermittently on Friday morning, the second service interruption in a week, but government computer sleuths doubt that a hacking group claiming responsibility was involved.

On the heels of a denial-of-service cyberattack that paralyzed federal district, bankruptcy and appellate court sites and their electronic document functions for four hours on Jan. 24, the USCourts.gov system was touch-and-go early Friday.
