Obama Signals Openness To Immigration Deal With GOP

Law360, New York (January 31, 2014, 7:50 PM ET) -- President Barack Obama hinted on Friday that he might accept an immigration reform package that does not include a special pathway to citizenship for undocumented individuals who are already in the country, signaling that compromise may be possible to advance efforts to overhaul the immigration system.

In an interview broadcast by CNN on Friday, the president said he didn't want to “prejudge” any immigration reform bill that might end up on his desk.
