Obama Defends IRS In Super Bowl Interview With O'Reilly

Law360, New York (February 03, 2014, 1:24 PM ET) -- The Seattle Seahawks weren’t the only ones playing defense Sunday, as President Barack Obama found himself combating allegations of IRS political targeting during a pregame interview with FOX News’ Bill O’Reilly.

O’Reilly asked the president why former Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the White House 157 times, more than any cabinet member. Obama said he didn’t recall ever meeting individually with Shulman and said the visits instead were part of routine meetings with administration officials.
