School Consultant Gets Prison For Bid-Rigging

Law360, New York (March 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge sentenced a former education consultant to 7 ½ years behind bars Wednesday after she was convicted of 22 counts of fraud, bid-rigging and conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with a federal program to connect school districts and libraries to the Internet.

Judge William H. Alsup of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California sentenced Judy Green after denying her request for a new trial.
