QBE Says AIG Affiliates Must Cover Kickback Case Defense

Law360, New York (February 6, 2014, 8:01 PM EST) -- Force-placed insurance giant QBE Holdings Inc. asked a New York court Tuesday to order two American International Group Inc. affiliates and another primary insurer to cough up defense costs for allegations that it paid improper kickbacks to banks, insisting the underlying claims met requirements for professional liability coverage.
