Crosstex Energy Plans $70M Permian Gas Pipeline Expansion

Law360, New York (February 6, 2014, 1:21 PM EST) -- Crosstex Energy LP said Thursday that it will spend $70 million to continue expanding its gas gathering and processing footprint in the Permian Basin that covers Texas and New Mexico.

Crosstex Energy will build a 35-mile, 12-inch pipeline to link to Crosstex's Bearkat natural gas processing complex, for a daily capacity of 100 million cubic feet of gas. The limited partnership, together with subsidiary Crosstex Energy Inc., has invested $210 million in the region's gas to date.
