2 Attys, Ex-NYC Comptroller Tapped For Casino Board

Law360, New York (February 6, 2014, 5:19 PM EST) -- The commission tasked with choosing the sites for New York's new full-service casinos picked two lawyers and a former New York City comptroller on Thursday to sit on the board, which will eventually comprise five people and evaluate casino sites and gaming license applicants.

The three recommended board members, Paul Francis, Stuart Rabinowitz and Bill Thompson, will be formally appointed at an as-of-yet unscheduled commission meeting, chairman-designate Mark Gearan said.
