UK Regulator Taps Ex-Goldman Exec For Bank Oversight

Law360, Washington (February 7, 2014, 6:18 PM EST) -- The U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority has hired a former Goldman Sachs Co. and UBS AG managing director in a part-time role advising on supervision and regulation of investment banks, the agency announced Friday.

Britain’s FCA appointed James Kelly to the advisory role reporting to Will Amos, director of the authority’s wholesale banking and investment management division, according to a statement released Friday.
