Industry Groups Urge USTR To Step Up IP Pressure On India

Law360, Washington (February 7, 2014, 8:18 PM EST) -- Several industry groups have called for the U.S. Trade Representative to boost pressure on India over its allegedly lax enforcement of intellectual property rights, highlighting issues like high media piracy rates and its ongoing circumvention of international standards allowing generic-drug makers to produce versions of patented pharmaceuticals.
