Blagojevich Fundraiser Sentenced For Referral Bribe Scheme

Law360, Los Angeles (February 10, 2014, 5:46 PM EST) -- An Illinois federal judge on Monday sentenced a former fundraiser for ousted Gov. Rod Blagojevich and former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. to two years in prison for bribing doctors to refer patients to surgery centers that he owns and then falsifying his tax returns.
