NY Hospital Settlement Could Be Model For Future Mergers

Law360, New York (February 12, 2014, 2:30 PM EST) -- In December 2013, the New York Office of Attorney General entered into a settlement with St. Elizabeth Medical Center (SEMC) and Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare (FSL), the only two general acute care hospitals in Utica, N.Y., allowing them to affiliate under a single parent entity.[1]
