USAA Cleared In Probe Of Death Benefit Search Practices

Law360, New York (February 11, 2014, 5:36 PM EST) -- United Services Automobile Association life insurance units have proactively searched the U.S. government’s Death Master File for more than a decade to track down unpaid beneficiaries, according to a report released Monday that makes USAA the second carrier to come up clean in a multistate investigation.
