ABA Delegates Approve 13% Hike In Membership Dues

Law360, Chicago (February 10, 2014, 6:59 PM EST) -- The American Bar Association's governing body on Monday voted in favor of a 13 percent increase in membership dues for the group beginning in 2015, the first rate hike at the association in eight years.

The ABA's House of Delegates, gathered in Chicago for the association's midyear meeting, approved the dues increase by a wide margin, with only a handful of delegates voicing their opposition during the oral vote.
