AGL To Buy MacGen For $1.37B, Pending Antitrust Nod

Law360, New York (February 12, 2014, 2:28 PM EST) -- AGL Energy Ltd. said Wednesday that it will buy Macquarie Generation for AU$1.51 billion ($1.37 billion), in a deal that — if approved by Australia's antitrust regulator — would significantly increase AGL's share of New South Wales' overall generating capacity.
